Pat Sloan's Focus on the Center Giveaway

Hello Everyone,

Can you believe it... Pat Sloan has another book out?  Yippee!  If you have never purchased one of her books you really need to go out and get one, but especially this one.  I will tell you why....

Pat puts her twist on medallion quilts.  Medallion quilts are quilts that are built around a center focus.  Something special is going, right there, smack dab in the center of a quilt.  It can be anything, but the rest of the quilt is built around that center.

Pat has created 7 medallion quilts in her newest book fromLeisure Arts. All the projects are small to medium size so really doable in even a weekend.  I really like them all but have two favorites.

Blue Lagoon
Can you just see this quilt done in all Kaffe Fassett fabrics?  I see it in reds, yellows, and greens.

All Roads Lead Home
This one is my favorite!  I don't know what it is, I just love it.  I even began to pull fabrics to make the house.

I chose a combo of Kaffe Fassett fabrics and batiks.  The yellow is for the house.  My house is a bright sunny yellow.  The reds are for the door and the chimney.  The blues for the windows.  The striped black batik is the roof and the wiggly lined green batik is the background.  I can see it in my mind's eye, can you?

Pat asked be a few questions and has some cool pictures of a quilt and myself that I sent her.  So make sure that you hop on over to her blog and check them out!

Because this is a blog hop, the following list are all the participants on the hop.  So make sure you visit each and everyone.  You can enter on every blog for a chance to win!!
